This list shows the cost needed for these oil producing countries to avoid having a budget deficit in 2008 and 2009 as compiled by the IMF.

GM Ad Says It All

This is from Reuters: No.1 US car manufacturer GM has unveiled an advertisement acknowledging it had "disappointed" and sometimes even "betrayed" American consumers by letting "our quality fall below industry standards and our designs became lackluster."

That's what I been talking about. Nobody in their right mind would purchase an ugly gas-guzzling car with a quality that "falls below industry standards..." For this GM should not be given a piece of the bailout which is down to $15 Billion. They should not be given a piece of the bailout their disappointing and betraying American consumers.

Who ever is head of this company should be put on the chopping block. GM should be acquired by other companies or simply shut it down.

It is time for new players.

Bailout!

It was two weeks ago when I just had to smile when I read about Detroit's big three's - Chrysler, Ford and GM - request for assistance or more accurately, a bailout from Congress worth $25 Billion. But their request was not granted (Phew). Unless they show Congress solid plans that detail how they would use the $25 Billion to return to profitability.

Now I'm laughing myself silly because this time when the big three (but not big anymore) returned, they are now asking for $34 Billion.

$34 Billion bailout! Hahaha!

$34 Billion bailout to get these car manufacturers back on track. Hahaha!
$34 Billion bailout for poor management! Hahaha!
$34 Billion American taxpayers money to pay for these car manufacturers' mistakes! Hahaha!
$34 Billion bailout to subsidize the big three's executives' salaries that are so high that we need a lifetime to earn when they only need a year. Hahaha!

I always thought that the fate of businesses should be determined by the consumers. If no one is buying then you must be doing something wrong. And if your not making money its time to let others take over, restructure or shut down.

December We Start

I have never been an optimistic person in my 30 plus years of my existence. I had rough childhood, a rebellious teen years and now a angst-ridden adulthood. And I'm still clueless of what I want to do. I always believed that nothing will come my way.

But this time everything will change. December I'm starting to reprogram my thinking.

I'm listening to Rhonda Byrne. Yes , I'm reading "The Secret". I have been reading it and rereading it.

This is a perfect time put what is written into practice. When everything is down you must soar up, up up really high.

You think I'm late? Well its better late than never. The important thing is I have started. You should do the same.

Think positive. Feel and be happy. Radiate happiness.

Its Our Time!

Don't you just love it?

It was just yesterday that they announced that the United States is officially in recession. Wow! We knew that 18 months ago? The US economy is at a slowdown. And its dominance is waning. Their Stock Market is like a shrunken ship making a nose-dive down, down, down into the blue sea and it haven't reach the bottom yet. US banks are declaring bankruptcy. Now that's hilarious! The big three car manufacturers are next to go to the same route. Suddenly they're not big anymore. The only thing soaring are job cuts.

"So what?!" you may ask. "What does this mean for the rest of the world?"

Well, when the US of A, being the number one consumer in the whole world loses its spending power, everybody including us, is headed for the same slowdown they are experiencing because no one has cash to buy the products we are selling to them.

But don't treat this as a bad thing.

"What?!"

Calm down. Think positive. Think of these events as an opportunity. Treat this event as an exchanging of wealth. From them to us. Its time to learn to have money smarts. Its time to know where we should put our money. Its time to make our journey to financial freedom. These are exciting times!
